American Kennel Club-sponsored specialty dog shows feature just a single breed. Annually, there are about 2,000 national, regional, and local specialties. The Schipperke Club of America (CSC’s parent club) holds the national specialty annually, usually in April. Showing at the national specialty is by invite only, and CSC is proud to have had a few of our Schips over the years invited.
CSC hosts two specialties annually, one in the spring and one in the fall. Members and non-members alike attend to watch friends and their Schips show and offer encouragement, while enjoying watching and spending time with this beautiful breed.
Our next specialty will be in Fall 2025 at the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship, MD.
